HOW To make trufflE TEA
In this article we explain how to make your truffle tea. This will be a beautiful light-blue tea made of legal truffles containing natural psilocybin, ginger and lemon juice. This ‘tea’ makes it easier for the stomach to digest the truffles, creates a significantly faster uptake, slightly concentrates the duration of your journey and intensifies the experience.
Most of the psilocybin in truffles is confined within cell walls of chitin, which our stomachs aren’t used to consume raw. Plants, for example, have cell walls composed of cellulose. Chitin can be difficult for some people to digest. Extracting the psilocybin into a tea and filtering out most of the chitin makes it easier on the stomach and reduces the chance of getting nauseous.
The acidity of the lemon starts converting the psilocybin to psilocin; the psychoactive substance that is responsible for the psychedelic state.
What’s nice about making your own tea, is that it allows you to add some flavour of your liking, such as honey. It also allows you to extract the essentials and discard some of the superfluous – which comes close to what a psychedelic journey is all about.
