Our Team

ON A MISSION TO RECONNECT people WITH NATURE

Just like mycelium we operate as a network organisation. Our team is a beautiful community of nature explorers and medical experts, artists and scientists, meditators and activists who are convinced that the challenges of the future are best addressed by reconnecting with nature and self-discovery.

PAUL BERGER

CHIEF FINANCE & OPERATIONS

Paul loves numbers. Not because of their looks but because he can see through them. Numbers have meaning and Paul aims to make them mean something positive out in the real world. Whether he’s out tour-skiing, mountain biking or langlaufen, Paul infuses anything around him with positive energy. Paul believes that the best decisions are not taken by cognitive notions, but by a deeper intuitive intelligence.

VIOLA GROENHART

COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT

Viola has been guiding people inwards for over a decade - through visual art, yoga, meditation, somatic movement, breathwork and, more recently, ceremony. She is fascinated by our complex minds, the intelligence of our bodies, the beauty of our hearts and the awareness that underlies it all. She sees that life comes with its share of struggles, but that just might have something to tell us. To her, looking deeply within is one of the most beautiful, important and transformative journeys we can make in this lifetime.”

LIV STIG

HEAD OF AKADEMIA

Liv believes in the incredible power of psilocybin as a tool to bring people back into their bodies and make them listen to their bodily wisdom. She teaches people this through Ayurveda, Tantra, Breathwork and Psilocybin. Just a few of her long list of passions. Currently, she’s combining her event production skills and healing capacities as Spinoza’s Head of Akademia with much passion, joy, and love for the medicine(s) of nature.

JOCHEM LAAN

HEAD OF DIGITAL

As a true jack of all trades, Jochem has always been exploring new and different ways to express and experience. Whether it is through his (digital) creative work, reading the old teachers, or one of the nature-oriented sports he practices. Whilst working for Spinoza, he fell in love with conscious connected breathing, with which he aims to help others to rediscover their true nature and regain peace and joy.

Kim

MASTER OF CEREMONY, THERAPIST

After 15 years of academic therapeutic service in mental healthcare and hospitals, and over a decade of meditative practices, she’s come to realize that ‘struggle’ is universal and innate to our human experience. She sees the benefits of using a broad variety of modalities, from psychotherapy to plant medicine, from tantra to storytelling and from meditation to breathwork.

Merel

She also offers breath coaching, yoga classes and is a professional trainer and mediator based on the method of Nonviolent Communication. With her work, she aims to foster a deeper understanding and a direct experience of our true nature. Merel loves singing and is actually named after a singing bird. She brings her voice and music on harmonium and guitar to each ceremony.

Hidde

GUIDE

Hidde’s journey with psilocybin started after a severe accident, when he began investigating the benefits of plant medicine and microdosing. This healing experience was the starting point of a new journey, which led him to work at several reputable institutions in the field of holistic care and psilocybin therapy. Hidde is convinced that psilocybin can play an essential role in establishing a holistic view on healthcare in Western society.

Aleksandra

MASTER OF CEREMONY, THERAPIST

Aleksandra brings her unique perspective, humor and professionalism to each ceremony. As a psilocybin guide and transformation coach, she helps people navigate altered states of consciousness comfortably and supports people in the process of returning to alignment and harmony. She has both a psychological academic background and a BBA degree. Aleksandra brings years of experience guiding people before, during and after psilocybin experiences.

George

EVA

GUIDE, MUSICIAN

Eva has been devoted to plant medicine for the past decade, and after four years of ceremonial mentorship, she has been guiding ceremonies since 2018. Silence and music are languages close to her heart, which she brings into the space through her presence, voice, guitar, and drum. She passionately creates spaces that remind us of our interconnectedness, the vibrant spectrum of our humanness, our inner wisdom and intuition. Alongside offering ceremonies and silent retreats, she is training to become a body-oriented therapist to help people integrate ceremonial insights into their daily lives. Living in a yurt by a beautiful river, surrounded by birds, trees, and a garden full of vegetables and herbs, she revels in the richness of simply being alive and delights in sharing that journey with fellow travelers.
